Common Sense, Present Tense
Introduction
Introduction:
Common Sense is common sense. It is not a movement, it is the continuum of a pragmatic state of mind.
In this Common Sense, Present Tense Manifesto we will explore the global applications of this state of mind to everyday political footballs. Football is a mock game of war. Politics are also a mock game of war. Everyone lines up on this side and that side of random issues. They offer clarity to these gray issues. However, over time the oppositions between the two sides have created a set of random and conflicting ideologies based on who picked which side first rather than a core and consistent set of ideologies.
I believe that the epitome of conflicting ideologies is that Conservative Pro-Life people are typically against abortion but for the death penalty. Not to pick sides, let me point out that the Liberal People apply the Pro-Choice option only to Abortion as far as I can think of. After all aren’t they typically against smoking in bars as the law of the land? In a true Pro-Choice Philosophy you one, leave it up to the parents to choose whether or not to have the baby and two, you leave it up to the bar owner to either have a smoking, non-smoking or mixed smoking and non-smoking bar.
Is there still a need for regulation – YES! Take cleanliness for example. Without Health Inspectors there would no doubt be a lot of roach infested restaurants and bars! So, following up on the prior subject about smoking, for mixed smoking bars you should establish the standards of how smoke-free the non-smoking part of the establishment needs to be.
Are there issues that are difficult to apply this to? Not really…
